Youth Programs

Youth Series Kids Are Smart
Every Youth Program Deserves A Truthful Message From The Heart.

Young people can be tough audiences. They’re exposed to all sorts of persuasive temptations that can often make it difficult for them to make the right choices all of the time. With peer pressure, parental expectations, sex, alcohol, drugs and violence ever nipping at their heels it’s no wonder why even good kids can make dumb decisions. When they do excel, adults cheer them on. And when they fall, they’re often left to fend for themselves.

Carole understands the challenges and triumphs of young people. She’s a mother and works with young people around the country helping them deal with problems while working with them to reach their full potential. And Carole is honest, too, when she speaks to youth groups, because she knows they’re smart and can spot an insincere presenter a mile away.

Carole learned the hard way what young people face when choices and society’s temptations are ever present. Her only 17 year old son was killed in a 1997 automobile accident just six days after graduating from high school. He was drinking shortly before his death. He was a popular, gifted child, and had received a full academic scholarship to the school of his dreams, Morehouse College. Carole’s life will never be the same. She’s so driven about helping young people make sound decisions that will keep them safe that she created Student Safety Month in 1998. It’s observed each June, and is officially recognized in Chases Calendar of Events and Instructor Magazine.

Carole also has two beautiful daughters. Her oldest is a college graduate, and pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology. And her surviving twin daughter is carving out her life without her brother as a teacher's assistant and college student.Yes, Carole understands kids. And her message of hope, promise and forgiveness will stir the hearts of young people in every single presentation she gives.

Dare To Be Different

Open new doors of opportunity by trusting your instinct, reaching deep inside for courage, and taking the road less traveled. That’s only a taste of Carole’s message to young people offering them hope, courage and belief in themselves. She teaches young people how to handle heckling friends when they refuse to follow the crowd. And they don’t have to become a nerd just by doing the right thing. This session deals with how to be popular in a positive way, developing street smart skills for getting ahead, and how to put one foot in front of the other when the going gets tough. The perfect keynote for teenagers, at-risk youth, faith-based groups, youth conventions, regional conferences or association events.

Action Planning For Your Future

It’s later than we think, and the future for many young people is just around the corner. Whether it’s preparing for college or getting ready for that first full time job, This program is designed to get students ready for the life that lies ahead of them. Carole shares practical step by step techniques that will guarantee students the success they’re looking for in school, college, and on their future career paths. Numerous resources will be highlighted as well as popular websites in cyberspace. An excellent consultative, workshop or training program.

Self Esteem: An Intense Course of Action

Self Esteem. What is it? Who has it and who doesn’t? Why is it so important to have in personal growth and maturity? And more importantly, how can you get it when you can’t find yours? Just a few of the critical questions discussed in detail in this intense, highly interactive session for every young person. Everybody needs self esteem, and without it, life becomes a difficult road to navigate. This session is perfect for children, pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, at-risk youth, students, recent college graduates and young people in transition.

Journal Joy – Places To Park Your Thoughts

Creating a journal can be a pain when you hate to write. Carole helps young people discover the joys of journal writing by teaching them how to express themselves in fun new ways. Carole doesn’t just talk this stuff…she lives it, having completed nearly 7 journal volumes since her son’s death. She teaches students how to creatively produce journal entries without writing a single word. Journal Joy is a program that will teach kids how to park their thoughts for safekeeping while they explore new dimensions about themselves and the world around them. The perfect workshop for teenagers, young adults, or at-risk youths
