Throughout the Connectional AME Church every conference (throughout the world) and its respective churches hold a yearly business/church meeting called "The Annual Conference." The New England Annual Conference, representing 23 churches in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut are holding their Annual Conference series from April 2nd through April 7th at Charle Street AME Church Boston.
I am a member of Bethel AME Church - Boston.
During the week each church delivers its annual report of activities, services and souls saved throughout year. The New England Conference Branch Women's Missionary Society (NECB-WMS) held its "Annual Day" on Wednesday April 3rd and completed its preparation for the upcoming Quadrennial Convention of the worldwide WMS. I am the 2nd Vice President for NECB WMS and a member of the Christiana R. Gray WMS at Bethel-Boston.
