The Three Main Events
All Three Events Met In The Boston Common
The Boston "Free Speech" Rally drew up to 50 participants. The group has indirect connections to white supremacy groups in America. Their rally was held at the Parkman Bandstand in Boston Common.
The Counter Protest March of the day drew up to 40,000 participants mostly from Massachusetts and surrounding New England states. It was organized by Black Lives Matter, Combined Interfaith Organizations, the NAACP, Trade Unions, and several other Community and Social Justice Organizations.
The Coalition to Organize, Mobilize Boston Against Trump and Answer Coalition Boston also held a rally at Boston Common near the State House Entrance.
Say NO to Hate!
*Carole participated in the entire Counter Protest March from the Reggie Lewis Track Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts to the Boston Common.

Final Photos & A Little Skirmish In Boston's Downtown Crossing
At 4:30 pm I walked out of Boston Common to the subway to pick up my car. The main counter protesters' rally ended at 3:05 pm. While I was walking to the "T" station, a skirmish broke out near Macy's Department Store. One of the Boston Free Speech alt right members was assaulted before the police got involved. Rocks and bottles of urine were thrown at the police. In the end, several anti-alt right persons were arrested for disorderly conduct.
It is doubtful that those arrested were a part of the main march and rally that I had joined. Fortunately, of the 40,000 reported at the march and rallies, only 33 people were arrested. There was no property damage or injuries reported, outside of the one alt-right person.
